We exist to remind a changing world that in every generation, God takes the dust of the earth and shapes vessels of worship for His glory.
In ancient times, alchemy attempted to turn base metals into gold. This was man's attempt to transcend and play the role of sovereign on earth. The metaphor is that God is the true Alchemist—He takes the dust of the earth and breathes life, shaping vessels of worship.
